Bear Dog
My name is Bear or I sometimes go by Beardog or Beardoggie. I know that one of Claudia's greatest passions is animals and making a difference in the lives of animals, both domestic and wild. She has told me stories of how she would rescue animals when she was growing up in Montana and then find their owner. And Ever since visiting the Cheetah Conservation Fund in Namibia, she volunteers for them and organizes their annual Run for the Cheetah in Phoenix in April. I sure wish I could run as fast as a cheetah.
Claudia has wanted to work with animals all of her life, and we are so excited that she is following her passion through creating Animals Rule Pet Concierge catering to their needs & your peace of mind.
I know that we would all get upset and sad when Claudia would get out her suitcases and leave on short or long business trips, and no matter how sad we looked, she still had to leave. Several of us can't even eat when she is away like that, so I know that she understands how your pet family could be feeling when you are away. And I know that it is very important to her to make sure that you know that they are healthy and safe while you are away.
I've been with Claudia since I was a puppy 11 years ago. I am kind of unique, in that I am the only dog that hasn't been rescued in our family, but I can verify everyone's story and how lucky we are to be with Claudia. One of my favorite things to do is to go on road trips, whether it's to the drive-thru at Starbucks or a hike in the San Tans. I also love to chase Roscoe & Roy…you'll meet them later on.
Chelsea
Hi! My name is Chelsea, and I have been with Claudia for 4 great years. I used to live with a chaotic family that had a little yard, and they would leave me in my carrier virtually all day. Looking back, I don't know how I lived that way, since I am a very active black lab. My nickname is 'Girl on the Go', so you can imagine what it was like for me being cooped up for so long. Claudia found out that the family was looking for a new home for me. I was ecstatic when I got to move here and share a big yard with Beardog and watch all of the horses around us.
Blackjack
I knew it was true devotion when Claudia rescued me, Blackjack, off one of the busiest streets in Phoenix. She was all dressed up in a white skirt driving to a business meeting when she saw me. All 80 pounds of me had just finished a swim in the canal, but she still stopped to save me from the dangers of being on the busy streets. I have no idea how I didn't get her white skirt all dirty when she got me into her car. I know she tried everything (posters, internet-petfinder.com, animal shelters) to find my previous family, but I love it here with everyone! As you might guess, I am a huge fan of water – bordering obsessive – so my favorite time is doggie play pool time.
Cabo Kincaid
I used to be the prince of the thoroughbred racetrack in Phoenix, but then during a race, I pushed things too far and hurt my leg. My previous owner didn't want anything to do with me after that. Luckily, my luck didn't run out with that race, because Claudia found out about me and gave me a huge green pasture where I could live, recover my pride and get well. Even though my leg has never fully recovered, I can still run and play. I really perked up when the new horse Kincaid showed up. He's a beautiful paint with a great personality. He can't make up his mind if he's a big dog or 'wild stallion' like me. Even though we are both geldings, we like to play 'wild stallions' in the early morning.
Star
Hi, my name is Star. 2 years ago I was living on the streets. I mostly lived in a big field on a busy corner with lots of big trucks going by. One day, someone noticed me and stopped to try to get me into their car. There was no way that I was going to get into that car. She left and came back with food for me, but I waited until she left before I would eat it. It got to be routine for 2 weeks that I would wait for her on the corner that was on her way to work, but I still wasn't getting in her car no matter how much I wanted to. It got to be too much for her that one Saturday she got in her car with Beardog and drove 40 miles with a mission to get me in her car and rescue me. I am so excited that she did!! Last year, Beardog, me and Claudia drove to Montana and I got to move in with her Dad and Stepmom. Her Dad's dog had passed away and he was sad about it. Now, I get to go canoeing in the summer and play in the snow in the winter.
Honey Maggie
My name is Honey now, Claudia found me running on the streets near her work. I had a cute pink collar, but no name tag or microchip. Claudia tried to find my family, but couldn't locate them, and I couldn't give her any information, so she took me home, where I met my 'bestest' friend – Maggie. We are partners in crime and love to race the horses back & forth along the fence! And we love their 'wild stallion' shows in the mornings. We love to have other dogs come and play with us so maybe one of your dogs would like to join us for a few hours for a doggie play date.
Roscoe Roy
Hi we are Roscoe & Roy, and we were born and raised here before Claudia was here, but she adopted us into her pet family and takes good care of us. We love keeping Cabo and Kincaid company and like to tease Maggie and Honey by rolling in the grass on the other side of their fence.
